About LiveEcon
LiveEcon™ for undergraduates covers introductory and intermediate level material – normally taught in first and second year. For example, in the Macroeconomics volume this begins with an overview of the circular flow, the workings of the asset, goods and foreign exchange markets, and culminates in a full open economy model of the macro economy. Other chapters examine the labour market, economic growth and aggregate supply.

Each chapter starts with a tutorial, which combines concise text with animated charts and tables, illustrating clearly the key points which are being described.

You can then go on to use the unique U-Drive-It! section in which you take control of the economy, changing the assumptions and seeing the effect on the economic model immediately.

The U-Graph-It! section builds on your knowledge by allowing you to change up to 16 variables in an equation to create your own graph, then drag the curves to observe the effects on your equation.

Formative assessment / self-evaluation questions then allow you to evaluate your progress and understanding of each chapter.

For postgraduates, an enhanced package will support the rapid progress expected of you in such courses. LiveEcon™ will provide extra coverage in the key areas of banking and finance. Formative assessment / self-evaluation questions will allow you to take control of your learning and evaluate your progress and understanding of each chapter.
